Welcome to the Calgary Police Rodeo, a non-profit society with a rich history and a commitment to two primary objectives. First, we strive to host a safe, professionally run rodeo for our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and emergency first responders. Second, we aim to bring awareness to and raise funds for the Missing Children Society of Canada and the Calgary Children's Cottage.
Our story began in 1983 when a group of Calgary Police officers had a vision to celebrate our western heritage while giving back to the community. Over the past 40 years, the Calgary Police Rodeo has evolved into a one-of-a-kind event, bringing together first responders from police, fire, and EMS.
Family-focused and fun for all, our rodeo is a celebration of our western heritage and a highlight of the summer. We owe our success to the dedication of our Board of Directors, the generosity of our sponsors, the hard work of countless volunteers and their families, the participation of our rodeo participants, and the support of our spectators.
We tip our cowboy hats to all who make our annual weekend in August such a memorable experience.
