In addition to the rodeo, this family-orientated event includes a Children's Carnival, exhibitions, concessions and a beer garden while in the evening, cowboys and adult spectators enjoy a barn dance featuring country music entertainment.
The Airdrie rodeo grounds open at 8:00 AM with free camping, pancake breakfast, beer gardens and free children's carnival. Admission to the rodeo is $15 Adults, $15 students/seniors, age 10 and under free.
Rodeo action kicks off at 1:00 PM. Tickets are available at the gate on the day of the rodeo.
After the Johansen Bull Riding Classic, Nashville Recording Artist Gord BAMFORD takes to the stage for the annual barn dance, which also takes place on the Airdrie rodeo grounds. Tickets for the dance will be available at the door, and can be purchased for $15. Please note that no minors will be permitted in dance hall after 9:00 PM, due to licensing requirements. The Airdrie Rodeo Grounds are five miles west of Airdrie on Highway 567.
